Data Deletion

How to remove your Facebook data from DeskFlux

If you connected a Facebook Page or ad account to DeskFlux, you can stop DeskFlux using it and ask us to delete what we hold. There are two steps, and you can do either on its own.

1. Disconnect (immediate, you do it)

  1. Sign in at webapp.deskflux.in.
  2. Open Meta Ads and press Disconnect.

This deletes the access token DeskFlux stored for your account straight away. DeskFlux can no longer read your Page, lead forms or ad account, and no new leads arrive.

You can also remove DeskFlux from Facebook itself: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → remove Deskflux. That ends our access from Facebook’s side too.

2. Ask us to delete the data we hold

Disconnecting does not erase leads that were already imported, because those now belong to your institute’s CRM and you may still need them. To have Facebook-sourced data deleted as well — imported leads, cached campaign and form details, and the connection record — email [email protected] from the address on your DeskFlux account with the subject “Delete my Facebook data”, and tell us your institute name.

  • We confirm receipt within 3 working days.
  • We delete the data within 30 days of verifying the request comes from your institute’s account owner, and confirm by email when done.
  • Some records may be kept longer only where the law requires it, such as invoices.

Lead data of individual people

If you are a person who filled in a Facebook lead form for an institute and want your details removed, contact that institute first — it decides what is stored. You can also email us at [email protected] and we will pass the request to the institute or remove it ourselves.

More on how we handle data is in our Privacy Policy.
