How QR Attendance Works
Each batch session gets a unique QR code displayed on-screen or printed at the entrance. Students scan it with their phone camera — they're marked present instantly. No biometric hardware, no RFID cards, no roll-call sheets. Works on any phone with a camera.
Unique Per Session — No Duplicate Marking
Every QR code is generated uniquely per session and auto-expires after the class time. A student cannot scan yesterday's QR or share it with a friend. Duplicate scans from the same student are automatically rejected.
Instant Reports — Student, Batch, Teacher, Date Range
Attendance reports are available in real time. See who's present in an ongoing class, check monthly attendance for a specific student, or view batch-wise attendance trends. Filters by date range, batch, teacher, and student.
Manual Attendance for Edge Cases
Forgot phone? Network issue? Staff can mark attendance manually from the dashboard. Every manual entry records who modified it, so there's always an audit trail.

Do students need to install an app?
No. Any phone with a camera and internet browser can scan the QR code. No app installation, no login, no password.
What about staff attendance?
Staff attendance works the same way — scan a QR on arrival. Teacher and employee attendance are tracked independently.
Can I print QR codes for permanent use?
For permanent QR codes (like self-registration), yes. For daily attendance, QR codes are generated per session and displayed digitally. You can also print them for each class.
