What format does the Excel file need to be in?
DeskFlux generates a pre-filled template with columns for student name, subject scores, and total. You fill in the marks and upload the same file back. The system handles the parsing automatically.
Can I include custom comments on the report card?
Yes. The Excel template includes a comments column. Anything you write there appears on the student's report card.
What if a student was absent for the test?
Mark them as absent in the Excel. The report card will show 'Absent' instead of a score, and no parent gets a confusing zero.
Can parents see other students' marks?
No. Each parent receives only their own child's report. Rank and class average are included as figures, without naming other students.
What if a student missed the test?
They are recorded as absent for that test rather than as a zero, so the class average and the student's own trend are not distorted by an absence.
